2002 Build
Tuesday, July 30th, 2002Neighbors South Habitat Coalition began work on this home in July 2002. It became the home for the Thompson family on 36th Ave.
2001 Build
Monday, July 30th, 2001Neighbors South began work on this site, 3029 “S” Street, in July 2001. This project became a five-bedroom, one-story home with a full basement for Simon Jah and his family.
2000 Build
Sunday, February 27th, 2000Neighbors South broke ground on this building project in February 2000. This four-bedroom, ranch-style house is located at 4528 South 26th Street in Omaha and became the home for the Diaz family.
1999 Build
Sunday, September 5th, 1999Neighbors South broke ground on its first project in May 1999. This four-bedroom, two-story home is located at 2505 Rees Street.
The partner family was Regina Hurt and her three daughters. The family contributed many hours of labor, or “sweat equity,” to the construction of this and other Habitat homes. The Hurt family home was dedicated on September 5, 1999.
