Neighbors South broke ground on this building project in February 2000. This four-bedroom, ranch-style house is located at 4528 South 26th Street in Omaha and became the home for the Diaz family.

Sunday, September 5th, 1999Neighbors South broke ground on its first project in May 1999. This four-bedroom, two-story home is located at 2505 Rees Street.
The partner family was Regina Hurt and her three daughters. The family contributed many hours of labor, or “sweat equity,” to the construction of this and other Habitat homes. The Hurt family home was dedicated on September 5, 1999.
